The NBC uniquely accumulates products to provide contact accumulation with no line-pressure. This zero-pressure, gentle contact accumulation allows even empty boxes to be dense-packed with just a light touch of box to box. The new technology also excels at dense packing small and diverse products with zero line pressure on both curves and straight beds.

According to Del Deur, Director of Product Development, the common components and modular design of the NBC give it a very high level of flexibility. “All sections of the NBC come pre-wired and pre-plumbed, reducing both the overall cost of equipment and the installation costs,” said Deur. “Additional savings result from NBC’s ability to power up to four V-belt modules off either end of the conveyor without adding a drive. While offering significant cost savings, NBC also incorporates high-value features including logic modules that can be set in the field with the simple press of a button to select basic or progressive (train) release modes. Other features include true-taper rollers with close-pack roller centers and direct drive belts with 97% efficient gear motors. NBC utilizes TGW’s patented CRUZ® channel frame with the rollers low and
built-in guardrail and sensor eye configuration.
