The COMMANDER Material Flow Control System (MFC) is a suite of software components and applications that provide advanced control and management for routing containers (totes, pallets, and cartons) through an integrated material handling system. COMMANDER MFC is event driven, providing real-time interaction with PLC and micro-processor based material handling equipment controllers for unit load conveyors, tote/carton conveyors, sortation systems and AS/RS.

COMMANDER MFC communicates with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other legacy business systems through standard open communications methods for requirements and confirmations of transport activities.

COMMANDER MFC is modular, easily configurable Microsoft .NET system.   MFC is being developed using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 in C# and utilizes Microsoft's Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) technologies. The scalable architecture makes it a good choice for any size distribution center.
